PRITECAM IGNITES PREPARATIONS FOR THE 2027 RECRUITMENT EXERCISE
The Private Technical Colleges Association of Malawi (PRITECAM) has officially begun preparations for the 2027 recruitment exercise following a strategic planning meeting held at St John Paul II College.
Opening the meeting, the Regional Centre Manager for the South, Dr. Conceptor Bamusi, urged member colleges to maintain high standards in training and remain committed to quality education. She emphasized that technical institutions must continue producing skilled, innovative and work-ready graduates who can respond to the demands of a changing job market.
PRITECAM Chairperson Mr Benson Mongiwa reaffirmed the association’s commitment to empowering young people through practical skills training. He noted that PRITECAM is focused on reaching more youths this year and equipping them with relevant skills that can promote employment, entrepreneurship and self-reliance.
The meeting also discussed strategies to improve recruitment processes, strengthen collaboration among member colleges and increase visibility ahead of the 2027 intake.
PRITECAM further announced that advertisements calling for applications into various technical and vocational programmes will soon be released through different media platforms.
The 2027 recruitment exercise is expected to attract thousands of young Malawians seeking hands-on training and new opportunities for personal and national development.
